Deuteronomy 32:42-44

⁴²I will make my arrows drunk with blood,
and my sword shall devour flesh—
with the blood of the slain and the captives,
from the long-haired enemy.

⁴³Praise, O heavens,^[a] his people,
    worship him, all you gods!^[b]
For he will avenge the blood of his children,^[c]
    and take vengeance on his adversaries;
he will repay those who hate him,^[d]
    and cleanse the land for his people.^[e]

⁴⁴Moses came and recited all the words of this song in the hearing of the people, he and Joshua^[f] son of Nun.
